| NOTE #1: This vehicle is equipped with a Special Anti-theft key, to remote start you will need a
Bypass module 791,(use this module IF you have a extra ignition key to place inside
the 791 to remote start, if you do not have an extra key to use or wish not to have a
key placed inside this bypass module, we OFFER a KEYLESS INTERFACE BYPASS
MODULE that does not require a key to be placed inside the bypass modlue, this is
Part # PKALL or PKFM, either one will work, to order, go to the INTERFACE BYPASS
MODULE PAGE on this website.
NOTE #2: the (+) PARKING LIGHT wire may also be found at the TRAILER CONNECTOR next
to the Diagnostic Connector under the dash.
NOTE #3: If vehicle is equipped with FACTORY KEYLESS ENTRY it is a TYPE "B" Door Locking
System, without FACTORY KEYLESS it is a TYPE "C". Use the DRIVERS SIDE Switch
as the Master Switch when testing.
NOTE #4: This vehicle has 2 door wires, when connecting to an ALARM SYSTEM, use both wires
and DIODE ISOLATE, to connect, See DIAGRAM
NOTE #5: The TACH wire on the 4.2L engine is a DARK BLUE/LIGHT GREEN at the coil pack,
on the 4.6L it is a PINK/WHITE in a 3-Pin plug at the front of the engine below the
air intake by the fan. On the 5.4L it is a LIGHT GREEN/WHITE at the coil on the
passenger side of the engine.
