NOTE #1: This vehicle may be equipped with CHRYSLER'S ANTI-THEFT TRANSPONDER System
(GRAY IGNITION KEY), if so to remote start will require the 791 BYPASS MODULE and
an extra Ignition key, to order go to the SECURITY BYPASS MODULE PAGE on this
website.
NOTE #2: The PARKING LIGHT wire is a GREEN/WHITE or a GREEN/RED on this vehicle and are
a (-)Negative type. These wires are located at the BACK of the HEADLIGHT Switch in
a BLACK Plug. To connect this wire will require an extra Relay part #775 to connect,
See DIAGRAM. You can also find a (+)Positive Parking Light wire at the PASSENGER
SIDE MARKER LIGHT in a BLACK harness out under the hood, open up this harness
and test for the correct PARKING LIGHT wire. You can see this HARNESS HEADING
into a LARGE HOLE in the FRONT PASSENGER FENDER in front of the WINDSHILED
WASHER BOTTLE, by making the connection there, you will not need to add the
extra relay.
NOTE #3: This vehicle uses a 1-Wire Door Locking System and will require extra parts. To
LOCK requires a (-)Negative thru a 1500, ARM requires a (-)Negative thru a 4020
Ohm Resistor and to UNLOCK requires a (-)Negative thru a 250 Ohm Resistor and
DISARM requires a (-)Negative thru a 665 Ohm Resistor. Some units will also
require 2 extra relays Part #775 to connect, See DIAGRAM
NOTE #4: the PLUG at the FUSEBOX/BCM that contains the POWER DOOR LOCK wire is the
(WHITE) LEFT plug, closest to the E-Brake Pedal. To remove this plug, pull the
carpeting out from under this plug (this will give you more room to remove this
plug) press on the WHITE release tab and wobble the plug from the bottom of the
FUSEBOX/BCM. At this time the POWER LOCKS will not function. Remove the
Electrical tape from the harness and seperate the WHITE/LIGHT GREEN and
WHITE/DARK GREEN wires from the rest of the wires in this plug, and plug this
harness back into the bottom of the FUSEBOX/BCM. The harness must be plugged
back into the BCM to test the LOCK/UNLOCK wire.
NOTE #5 you will need to UNLOCK THE VEHICLE, before Remote Starting to keep the Factory
Security from sounding See DIAGRAM
