NOTE #1: If vehicle is equipped with PASSKEY/VATS, Ignition Key will have a little Chip on the Steel Shaft of the Key that can be seen. Requires 791 Bypass Module for Remote starting to order go to the SECURITY BYPASS MODULE Page on this website. NOTE #2: WITHOUT FACTORY KEYLESS ENTRY; use the LIGHT BLUE for LOCK and the DARK BLUE for UNLOCK, TYPE C SYSTEM, both wires are located in either door harness. Use the PASSENGER switch as the MASTER switch. WITH FACTORY KEYLESS ENTRY: Use the RED/BLACK for LOCK and the ORANGE/BLACK for UNLOCK, TYPE C SYSTEM, both wires are located in the PASSANGER kick panel at the FACTORY KEYLESS MODULE. The PASSENGER switch is the MASTER switch for testing. DO NOT use the 12 volt contant at the switch or the keyless entry module for the door lock relays. Use the 12volt constant from the IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS or BATTERY ONLY. NOTE #3: The TACH wire on the V-6 is a WHITE at the LEFT FRONT cylinder head. On the V-8 the TACH wire is in a 4-Pin plug at the PASSENGER side valve cover. |
