NOTE #1: This vehicle is equipped with VOLKSWAGON'S MULTI-PLEX IGNITION/TRANSPONDER system that requires a Special INTERFACE BYPASS MODULE for Remote Starting Part # XK09 or DB-ALL, to order go to the INTERFACE BYPASS MODULE Page on this website. To order the Bypass Module go to the INTERFACE BYPASS MODULE Page on this website NOTE #2: the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module) is located in the ENGINE COMPARTMENT on the Drivers Side. NOTE #3: the WIRELESS IGNITION NODE is part of the IGNITION SWITCH. NOTE #4: when using the (-) PARKING LIGHT wire it must be ISOLATED from SWITCH with a Relay NOTE #5: this vehicle uses a 1-WIRE DOOR LOCKING SYSTEM, that Requires Extra Parts for operation. On NON-Base Models us a LT. GREEN/WHITE (-) at PASSENGER Door Lock Switch or PDM, (PLUG(C5) PIN 4, the PDM is in the Passenger Door. The use of Bypass Module DLPK-CANBUS MULTI will do the ANTI-THEFT and DOOR LOCKS without the use of relays and resistors. NOTE #6; the PLM (Power Liftgate Module) is located in the DRIVERS SIDE REAR QUARTER PANEL.
