| NOTE #1: VW'S TRANSPONDER ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM, Requires Bypass Module,
Part # 791 Bypass Module for REMOTE STARTING ONLY!!
Part # DLPK-CANBUS MULTI for REMOTE START and DOOR LOCKS
NOTE #2: the COMFORT SYSTEM CONTROL MODULE is located under the DRIVERS SIDE DASH
and to the LEFT of the STEERING CLOUMN.
NOTE #3: this vehicle uses a 1-WIRE DOOR LOCKING SYSTEM, that Requires Extra Parts for
operation. The use of Bypass Module DLPK-CANBUS MULTI will do the
ANTI-THEFT and DOOR LOCKS without the use of EXTRA relays and resistors.
On Convertible Models the LOCK wire is a YELLOW (-) at the DRIVERS DOOR
CONTROL MODULE, (29-PIN PLUG), IN 23.
NOTE #4: the DDCM, (Drivers Door Control Module) is located in the Drivers Door.
NOTE #5: On Convertible Models the LOCK MOTOR wire is at the DRIVERS DOOR
CONTROL MODULE, (29-PIN PLUG), PIN 1.
NOTE #6: On Convertible Models this wire is a BROWN/WHITE (-) at the DRIVERS DOOR
CONTROL MODULE, (29-PIN PLUG), PIN 18.
NOTE #7: for the TACH wire, use a PURPLE, PURPLE/GREEN, BLUE/RED, PURPLE/BLACK or
PURPLE/GRAY, all wires will test (AC)
NOTE #8: TEST this wire while Turning the KEY in the DRIVERS DOOR.
On Convertible Models this wire is a YELLOW/BLUE(-) thru a 250 Ohm Resistor, at the
DRIVERS DOOR CONTROL MODULE, (29-PIN PLUG), PIN 4.
