INFORMATION |
NOTE #1: The WHITE/BLUE and the WHITE/YELLOW at the IGNITION SWITCH, work as the STARTER/CRANKING wire and also the PASSLOCK 2 wires on this vehicle. The NEW ION TYPE PASSLOCK 2 ANTI-THEFT System, will require (2) relays and a resistor, you will need to measure the resistance to get the proper resistor to make the bypass circuit work on this vehicle, See DIAGRAM...OR YOU MAY USE AN INTERFACE MODULE INSTEAD OF BUILDING CIRCUIT WITH RELAYS AND RESISTORS...... Use a PLXR, PLJX, or an XK06 with PLXR 3.00 firmware. If you use a CANMAX 400 with 400.GM5 0.13 firmware, this will, in addition to remote start, also operate door locks and factory alarm.
NOTE #2: the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) is located on the PASSENGER SIDE FIREWALL under the HOOD.
NOTE #3: the BCM (Body Control Module) is located in the PASSENGER KICK PANEL.
NOTE #4: This vehicle has (4) DOOR TRIGGER wires the GRAY/BLACK (-) is used for the DRIVERS DOOR, Pin A32, the PASSENGER DOOR is a LIGHT GREEN/BLACK (-) Pin A38, the DRIVERS REAR DOOR is a LIGHT BLUE/BLACK (-) Pin A39 and the PASSENGERS REAR DOOR is a BLACK/WHITE (-) Pin A39 all are located at the BCM's BLACK Plug. When connecting to an ALARM SYSTEM use all 4 DOOR TRIGGER wires and DIODE ISOLATE.
NOTE #5: to UNLOCK just the DRIVERS DOOR, use the WHITE (-) at the BCM, (BLACK PUG), PIN A12.
