INFORMATION |
| NOTE *1 To gain access to the IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS it will be necessary to remove the RADIO. When doing so, DO NOT UNPLUG RADIO HARNESS. ALL IGNITION wires MUST BE TIED INTO at the BACK of the IGNITION SWITCH ONLY.
NOTE *2 The BCM (Body Control Module) is part of the FUSE/RELAY BOX on the FRONT PASSENGER side of the CENTER CONSOLE. It has the following connectors: C1 is a 72-pin BLUE Plug, C2 is a 72-pin GRAY Plug, C3 is a 41-pin RED Plug and C4 is a 68-pin GRAY Plug.
NOTE *3 The GRAY/BLACK (-) at Pin 51 is for the DRIVERS DOOR. The TAN/WHITE (-) at Pin 72 is the PASSENGER DOOR, the LIGHT BLUE/BLACK (-) at Pin 54 is the DRIVERS rear door and the LIGHT GREEN/BLACK (-) at Pin 53 is the PASSENGERS rear door. When connecting to an ALARM SYSTEM use all (4) wires and DIODE ISOLATE.
NOTE *4 The ECM (Engine Control Module) is located under the DRIVERS side of DASH and to the LEFT of the STEERING COLUMN. On the 2.2L engine the TACH wire is WHITE or ORANGE. On the 3.5L engine the TACH wire is PURPLE, ORANGE/WHITE or LIGHT BLUE.
NOTE *5 This vehicle uses a (1) WIRE door locking system, a Straight (-)Negative will LOCK the doors, a (-)Negative thru a 1500 ohm Resistor will UNLOCK the doors. All doors must be closed for this to function properly. See DIAGRAMS.
NOTE *6 it will be necessary to add a ACCESSORY Drop Out Relay and an IGNITION #1 Delay Relay to Remote Start this vehicle, See DIAGRAMS
NOTE *7 the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) is located in FRONT of the BATTERY on the DRIVERS SIDE of the VEHICLE.
