| NOTE *1 To gain access to the IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS you will need to remove the PLASTIC PANEL below the steering column and then remove the METAL KNEE BOLSTER to gain access to the IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS. Once you have remove this METAL KNEE BOLSTER you will see the IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS, this harness plugs into the bottom of the IGNITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY. The PASSLOCK 2 wires exit the top of this switch.
NOTE *2 The BCM (Body Control Module) is located UNDER the DRIVER SIDE of DASH, HIGH ABOVE the PARKING BRAKE PEDAL ASSEMBLY. The BCM can be removed by sliding it out of its holder towards the firewall, by removing the BCM from its holder will let you gain better access to the BCM Plugs.
NOTE *3 An extra Relay part #R30-H is need for the (-)Negative Parking Light Isolation Circuit on this vehicle. See DAIGRAM.
NOTE *4 This vehicle uses a 1 Wire Door Locking System, a (-)Negative thru a 480 OHM Resistor will LOCK the doors and a straight (-)Negative will UNLOCK the doors, for this to operate properly all doors must be closed. See DIAGRAMS.
NOTE *5 This vehicle has (2) door trigger wires. The BLUE (-) is for the DRIVERS DOOR and the BLUE/WHITE (-) is for the PASSENGERS DOOR. When connecting to an ALARM SYSTEM uses BOTH wires and DIODE ISOLATE.
NOTE *6 The IGNITION CONTROL MODULE on the 3.4L engine is on the top center, rear of engine, and on3.8L it is on the top right front of engine.
