EXTRA INFORMATION

NOTE *1 To gain access to the IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS it will be necessary to remove the RADIO. When doing so, DO NOT UNPLUG RADIO HARNESS. ALL IGNITION wires MUST BE TIED INTO at the BACK of the IGNITION SWITCH ONLY. NOTE *2 The BCM (Body Control Module) is located BEHIND the PASSENGERS SIDE of DASH NOTE *3 The LIGHT GREEN/BLACK (-) in the DRIVERS kick panel is for the DRIVERS DOOR ONLY. The LIGHT BLUE (-) located in the DRIVERS running board harness heading under the drivers seat operates off of all other doors. When connecting to an ALARM SYSTEM use BOTH wires and DIODE ISOLATE. See DIAGRAM NOTE *4 The ECM (Engine Control Module) is located under the DRIVERS side of DASH and to the LEFT of the STEERING COLUMN. NOTE *5 This vehicle uses a (1) WIRE door locking system, a Straight (-)Negative will LOCK the doors, a (-)Negative thru a 1500 ohm Resistor will UNLOCK the doors. All doors must be closed for this to function properly. See DIAGRAMS.
