EXTRA INFORMATION

NOTE *1 The BCM (Body Control Module) is located behind the drivers side of the dash, with the plugs facing the rear of the vehicle. NOTE *2 This vehicle use (2) door pin triggers, the DRIVERS DOOR is a TAN (-) at the BCM, PURPLE plug, Pin B4, and for all other doors use the BLUE/WHITE (-) at the BCM, LIGHT BLUE plug , Pin B11. When connecting to an alarm use both and DIODE ISOLATE. See DIAGRAM NOTE *3 The ECM (Engine Control Module) is located near the battery, down low, between the fender and the fan, under a BLACK plastic cover. On the 4.3L engine it is in a 20 pin connector labled RED. On the 4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L engines it is located at Pin 10 in the RED connector. NOTE *4 when hooking up a REMOTE STARTER on a DIESEL, you will need to program in the 5,10 or 15 Second WAIT to START TIMMER in the Installation Manual. On some vehicles the Wait to Start Light on the dash is not a true (+)Positive or (-)Negative and the wire from the Remote Starter will not work. NOTE *5 IMPORTANT !!!!! this wire MUST BE CONNECTED as IGNITION #2 for REMOTE STARTING!!!!!!
