EXTRA INFORMATION

NOTE *1 If vehicle is equipped with a FACTORY KEYLESS ENTRY, it is a Negative (-) Door Locking System, located in a GRAY Molex plug to the RIGHT of the STEERING COLUMN. Without a FACTORY KEYLESS ENTRY, the VEHICLE is a 5 Wire Reverse Polarity Door Locking System, wires are located in the DRIVERS DOOR HARNESS, use the DRIVERS DOOR SWITCH when testing this is the MASTER SWITCH. Vehicles with the KEY PAD on the Door are considered to have KEYLESS ENTRY. NOTE *2 The BLACK/LIGHT BLUE (+) is located in the GRAY MOLEX plug, to the RIGHT of the STEERING COLUMN. NOTE *3 The TACH wire is located at the INSTRUMENT CLUSTER or in the MAIN HARNESS that runs on the inside of the FIREWALL to the LEFT of the STEERING COLUMN. NOTE *4 For DIESELS the TACH wire is a WHITE/PINK, the tach and wait to start wires are located at the PCM (Powertrian Control Module) or at the MAIN HARNESS that runs on the inside of the FIREWALL to the LEFT of the STEERING COLUMN.
