 NOTE *1 When Installing a REMOTE STARTER, you MUST use BOTH Starter #1 and Starter #2 wires. Both wires must be connected to the STARTER/CRANKING Output wire from the Remote Starter or the vehcile will NOT Remote Start when the Engine is cold. NOTE *2 THE SECU (Security Electronic Control Unit) IS LOCATED ABOVE THE HOOD RELEASE IN THE DRIVERS KICK PANEL.THESE WIRES WILL ONLY METER WHEN TURNING KEY IN DOORLOCK CYLINDER. NOTE *3 ON VEHICLES WITHOUT POWER DOORLOCKS USE RED/BLACK (-) AT ANY DOORPIN SWITCH. ON VEHICLES WITH POWER DOORLOCKS USE GREEN/RED (-) FOR DRIVERS DOOR, GREEN/BLACK (-) FOR THE PASSENGER DOOR AND RED/BLACK (-) FOR THE REAR DOORS. WHEN CONNECTING TO AN ALARM SYSTEM USE ALL 3 DOOR TRIGGER WIRES AND DIODE ISOLATE, TO CONNECT, SEE DAIGRAM NOTE *4 THE ECM (Electronic Control Module) IS LOCATED BELOW THE HEATER BOX AND THE THE RIGHT OF THE GAS PEDAL. NOTE #5 ON SOME VEHICLES YOU MAY NEED TO ISOLATE THE ACCESSORY WIRE USING RELAY PART # 775 TO PREVENT THE START FROM GRINDING. SEE DIAGRAM FOR 1998 -2001 NISSAN ALTIMA ISOLATION DIAGRAM
