| NOTE *1 When Installing a REMOTE STARTER, you MUST use BOTH Starter #1 and Starter #2 wires. Both wires must be connected to the STARTER/CRANKING Output wire from the Remote Starter or the vehcile will NOT Remote Start when the Engine is cold.
NOTE *2 THE ECM (Electronic Control Module) IS LOCATED IN THE FRONT OF THE CENTER CONSOLE ON THE TRANSMISSION HUMP.
NOTE *3 some late production model 1999 Nissan Maxima's are equipped with NISSAN's TRANSPONDER ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM, these vehicle will require a 791 Bypass Module and an extra Programmed Ignition Key when installing a Remote Start Unit.
