EXTRA INFORMATION

SPECIAL NOTE!!!! If vehicle is equipped with PASSKEY/VATS, Ignition Key will have a little Chip on the Steel Shaft of the Key that can be seen. NOTE *1 if vehicle DOES NOT have a FACTORY KEYLESS ENTRY, use the LIGHT BLUE for LOCK and the DARK BLUE for UNLOCK (5 Wire Reverse Polarity) the wires are located in EITHER KICK PANEL. You MUST use the PASSENGER SWITCH as the MASTER SWITCH when testing. For vehicles WITH FACOTRY KEYLESS ENTRY use the RED/BLACK for LOCK and the ORANGE/BLACK for UNLOCK. Both wires are located in the Passenger kick panel at the FACTORY KEYLESS ENTRY MODULE. DO NOT use the ORANGE power wire at this module or the door lock switch power wire to do your door locks.With FACOTRY KEYLESS ENTRY the door lock system is also a 5 Wire Reverse Polarity System and you must use the Passenger switch as your Master switch when testing. NOTE *2 On V-6 engines it is a WHITE wire at the left cylinder head and on the V-8 is it a RED/BLACK at a 4-Pin plug passenger side valve cover.
