NOTE *1 THIS VEHICLE USES (-)GROUNDS AT THE IGNITION SWITCH TO TURN ON RELAY AND MODULES.TO INTERFACE WITH THE NEGATIVE IGNITION WIRE TO REMOTE START SEE DIAGRAM FOR WIRING INFORMATION . THIS VEHICLE USES LOW CURRENT , LOW VOLTAGE SWITCHING IN MANY PLACES IN THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM . TEST WIRING WITH A DIGITAL VOM . DO NOT USE A TEST LIGHT See DIAGRAM. RELAYS LOCATED BELOW RIGHT SIDE OF DASH. REMOVE THE PANEL TO ACCESS . LOCK MODULE MOUNTED VERTICALLY TO RIGHT OF RELAYS SMALL BLACK PLASTIC BOX NOTE *2 Relay locations referred to are at the Passengers under dash area. The wires at the Ignition Switch are a (-)Negative or Ground type and WILL require extra relays to Remote Start if you chose to tie in at the Ignition Switch, See DIAGRAM. NOTE *3 some vehicle use a (+) Positive Parking Light wire and some use a (-) Negative Parking Light wire. In some cases the (-) Negative parking Light wire is a BROWN (-). Test the YELLOW (18GA) wire and the BROWN (18GA) wire to see what type of parking light circuit your vehicle has. NOTE *4 the Doors MUST BE CLOSED for the door locks to work. it has also been noted that the LOCK wires has been found to be a YELLOW/RED (-) (16GA) and the UNLOCK has been found as a PURPLE (-) (16GA) all TYPE B.
